A changing over from Liza to Ben
March 13, 2008
Good Day Fellow Crafters!

Hello again, and welcome to new subscribers. I hope your crafting year has got off to a good start, and that you're preparing yourself for all the opportunities that you can make the most of in 200GR8!

Craft Business Home has lots of good stuff planned for you this year, under the new and exciting ownership of Ben Montaigue! Yup, I'm "leaving", and I must say I'm very sad about it, but a new opportunity has come up for me and it means that I don't have enough time to continue building the site up and creating new, relevant and helpful information for you.

However, you will see Craft Business Home going from strength to strength, doing even more to help you with your success! Ben has also kindly invited me to contribute to Craft Biz News from time to time, so I'm not going to be a complete stranger :-)

The year is still young, and you have so many fantastic opportunities ahead... Easter is around the corner, Mothers and Fathers day will be here before you know it, and if you haven't yet started planning for the biggest crafting season of the year, start putting your strategies together for Christmas now! You know the saying...

Most people don't plan to fail, they fail to plan.

Here's to your success, fellow crafters! Thank you so much for your support to date, and for your continued support of Craft Business Home in Ben's very capable hands.

All the very best to each of you, Liza

Hello everyone, my name is Ben and I’m looking forward to running Craft Business Home. I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce my self after that lovely note to you all from Liza.

When I saw that that Liza was looking for a new owner I jumped at the chance as I was so impressed by the site and love craft and am also very interested in the business side of things.

So after talking with Liza on the phone I knew it was for me. The last couple of months have been taken up with signing over the site to me so that’s why you haven’t seen Craft Biz News for a while but now I’m ready and hope to keep the site running as well as it ever has which will take some work as Liza has done such a good job with it.

I live in rainy Wales UK, I moved here with my family (all 5 of us) about 4 years ago from Australia, yes I know everyone keeps saying why would you move to Wales if you live in Australia. Well being as beautiful as it is Aus is very far away and it takes a good 12 to 24 hours to go to another country.

Here we’re only a couple of hours away from most places in Europe, it’s so nice to be able to hop on a plane and be in another country. Even though it rains a lot, Wales is a very beautiful place and for now it really is the place I want to be. It also helps that I met a beautiful Welsh girl and am now engaged.

I teach piano in our local area, and tai chi is a big part of our lives as well, that’s what takes us all around Europe. I go with my father and brother and we hold weekend workshops teaching tai chi. We’re all musical and have a family band playing in the local areas.

Now I’ll also be working on Craft Business Home so any tips or comments you have for me, send me an email. If you’d like to know anymore about me or my family then type in my name, we’ve got lots up on the internet.

Well I’m off to meet my fiancée for lunch now so happy crafting and thank you for taking the time to get to know me,

Ben Montaigue

PS. If anyone wants to wish Liza good luck with her new projects, send me her message and I’ll forward it on to her. I’m sure she’d like that.
