My best selling item is custom ordered, hand beaded glassware. I do all kinds of glasses from wine glasses to candle holders for weddings and anniversaries as well as for daily use.
I was busy beading a silver anniversary set of champagne glasses and as usual, had my tiny seed beads in a small vintage dish on a table next me. I decided to take a break and have a bite to eat. While I was in the kitchen my then new puppy, Elvis, decided that those shiny little beads looked scrumptch-delee-icous!
Oh no and oh yes he did! I made a frantic call to my vet but when she learned they were not metal she felt that they would pass without lingering damage. And they did.
Suffice it to say, for the sake of delicacy, that I had the shiniest yard in the neighborhood for the next two days!
