Introduction

My About page describes how I got started on this SBI! (Site Build It!) journey, and this page is to document that journey, specifically to show South Africans that building a successful online business really is possible, is within our means, and can change your future or make your dreams come true!

I was thinking about starting by listing all the merits of the SBI! system, everything you get for the money you part with, and so on, but I could build an entire website based on that information alone! Instead, you can find a bunch of links for the specific info you might be looking for by clicking here.

What I would like to point out, though, is that building any business takes hard work on your part. There is no such thing as GRQ (get rich quick), because if there was, we wouldn't all be searching so hard to find it, we would already have it!

I've started businesses offline and online, and I think the best comparison I can give you is that SBI! is much like a franchise business. When you buy a franchise business, you still have to work hard at managing it, marketing it, growing it, and making it successful, but the franchise system provides you with the tools, know-how and support you need to be able to do all of that.

SBI! does the same thing - even if you know absolutely nothing about building websites or marketing them (as was my case when I got started), absolutely everything you need to know is provided in step-by-step form, and absolutely all the software you need to execute it with is included, as well as a support team available when you need them. You have the tools, now put them to work!

The differences between SBI! and a franchise business, is that the initial investment doesn't run into the hundreds of thousands, and there are no hefty monthly royalty fees to pay - all of this comes for a completely affordable fee of $299 payable once a year.

Now, divide that by the number of months in a year -- or, better yet -- the number of days in a year... Tell me, where else can you get what SBI! delivers for that price?! Never mind, I'll tell you... Nowhere! And, you don't even have to run to your favourite bank begging for the finance, they've already supplied you with it, just pop it onto your credit card!

I'm sure you can tell that I could go on and on, and there's only one reason... SBI! really works, and completely OVERdelivers!

Don't just take my word for it, though - if you want to know what other SBIers think, just take a look here.

And now, on with the journey...

14 December 2007 - Making Money Without Working

Wow, it's been a while, hasn't it?! Where does time go? I guess we all ask that question at this time of year!

16 May 2007 - Happy Birthday CraftBusinessHome.com!

One Year Old Today!!! :-D

When I look back a year ago to when I started this whole adventure, I can't believe how far I've come! I've learnt so much, that I'm now even in a position to build websites for others, and of course increase my own little "net empire" with more sites.

Turn Your Knowledge Into Revenue is the headline that caught my eye, and that's exactly what I've managed to achieve, thanks largely to SBI!

23 April 2007 - Where Angels are Fearless, and Why

I can be a very impulsive person, the proverbial fool who rushes in "where angels fear to tread". When I get an idea into my head and I want to do something, I do everything I can to find a way to do it. Over time, though, I've learnt to do my due diligence, which has helped me to choose paths well trodden by angels prior to me embarking on them ;-)

Thankfully for me and my impulsiveness, when I decided that I wanted to build a website (with no idea yet what I wanted to build a site about!) I found that a lot of angels walk the SBI! path!

06 April 2007 - Benefits & Challenges

As this whole journey/journal thing is a new project (inspired, by the way, by Gerhi of zaties.com) I've been wondering what I could continue to post about, and hoping that it would be useful to those of you reading it.
